Artist Guests of Honor
Artist Guest of Honor Lori Del Genis (she/her) is an award-winning portrait artist who has been exhibiting at Arisia since 2014 (and prowled around the art show for years before that). She credits the Arisia Art Show and the convention community for being the wing beneath her artistic bat-wings and giving her space to play and explore. In 2015 she created the Marty Gear Project, which paid posthumous homage to Marty through the eyes and photos of those who loved him.
Lori currently works primarily in oil paint creating commissioned portraits, but is still happy to produce whimsical re-imaginings of reclaimed art. Her work can be seen in permanent installations around Stoneham, MA as well as in fannish homes in Boston and beyond. Find her online at A Fine Likeness and on Facebook and Instagram at AFineLikeness.
