Join us for the Arisia Night Market, a place to celebrate whimsy and handmade awesome! This is a low-key, DIY gathering in the lobby for crafters, creators, makers, traders, trinket-lovers, and goblins of all kinds.
If you're not a crafter or creator, but you have small objects to trade, bring a few and see what happens.
Creator & Crafter Barter
If you’re a creator or crafter, bring a dozen or so of your wares to barter with others. No sales, just swapping. All kinds of creators and crafters are welcome, including writers, calligraphers, poets, 2D artists, fiber artists, embroiderers, beadworkers, quilters and any other type of creator you might be!
Wander around the lobby, look for something that catches your eye, and offer to trade with that person for something of yours. Please be respectful if someone says no thank you, and lean into the whimsy of the evening.
Trinket Trade for All Ages
Goblins of all ages are invited to bring beads, charms, buttons, and other trinkets to trade with each other. To participate, just make up a bag of small shinies, sparklies, or soft things and then wander around the first floor of the lobby looking for other folks with their trinket bags. Again, no sales, just trading trinket for precious trinket.
We will have a small number of starter bags available for folks who didn't see this notice in time to bring their own, especially for our smallest goblins. Please make sure your trinkets are appropriate for ages 5 and up.
Wear Your Goblin Market Finery
Show your flair! From high fantasy to urban chaos, goblin markets are in all genres. Dress up in whatever your particular goblin would wear to a night market and enjoy the creativity of others.
