• Open to all secondary school students.

• Theme: science fiction or fantasy.

• Size: no larger than 18" x 24" for flat works, or 16" x 24" x 30" high for 3-dimensional works.

• Entry format: photographic slides of the artwork. One slide per 2-D work, two slides per 3-D work. Limit six works per artist.

• Fees: Free!

• Deadline: postmark by December 1, 1999.

• Prizes: First place - $250, Second place - $150, Third place - $100.

• Preliminary judging of the slides will be by the Arisia convention committee. Slides will be returned after preliminary judging.

• Final judging of the actual artworks will be done at Arisia by the Artist Guest of Honor and other jurors.

• Finalists will receive a complimentary weekend membership to the convention, plus a complimentary one-day membership for one parent.

• Finalist's artwork will be displayed at the Arisia Art Show. All entries remain the property of the artist, and may be sold at the artist's discretion; normal sales commissions apply.
